The following interview catalogs the remarkable career of the late Larry T. Reynolds as a progenitor of Reflexive Sociology. His prodigious work is explored by Gil Richard Musolf who captures, through dialogue, nearly 50 years of sociological thought on the American and European continents as experienced by this legendary scholar. In so doing, the viewer will encounter significant socio-historical events and the respective sociological response(s). Additionally, Reynolds outlines the significant contributions that Michigan sociologists have made to both symbolic Interactionism as well as radical perspectives on social change. Reynolds places himself in the company of colleagues and students whilst telling the story of his journey. The Michigan Sociological Association figures prominently in his appraisal.
